Astronomy

Pro. 1
The three types of galaxies are:

Spiral Galaxies: Have a huge bulge in the middle of the galaxy. the bulge is made up of tightly packed stars. They are made up of flat disks that are constantly rotating. Spirals contain bright strands(people call them arms) that are made up of collections of star formations. Spiral Galaxies are the most common type of galaxy and make up around 60% of the universe.

Elliptical Galaxies: Basically all bulge with no disk. they look like just a ball of light and are foot-ball like shaped. Ellipticals are one of the more common galaxies found in the universe. Some of the galaxies can be almost perfectly round when others are flat. they can range to about hundred million to over a trillion stars

Irregulars-They have no exact shape, with no clear disk or bulge

For example, The Milky Way and Andromeda are spiral galaxies, and the Magellanic Cloud is an irregular

Black Holes

Black holes are a certain spot in space that nothing can escape, not even light. Its impossible to actually see a black hole, but scientists use the gravitational pull effects to see were a black hole is located. There is one theory about black holes that on the other side of the black hole there is a white hole, that expels light and everything else unlike black holes. But the other theory is that  if you entered it would just tear your molecules apart.

Comets, asteroids, and moons

Comets: comets are made up of  small chunks of ice, dust, and gas that orbits the sun. they are made up of four different parts, the nucleus which is the center of the comet, the coma which is the layer outside the nucleus, the hydrogen envelope the outer layer of the comet, and the tail, which is well.... the tail.

Asteroids: asteroids are remains of rocks left from the formation of the solar system. same with comets they orbit the sun and they are mostly found in the Asteroid belt in between mars and Jupiter.

Moons:
